The end of the school year is fast approaching, so let’s pay homage to our teachers by lettering “live, learn, love” with Kelly Creates Watercolour Inks.
I decided to stick to a script style only and used Cobalt Kelly Creates Watercolor Ink. Blue always reminds me of school and I love this hue of vibrant blue! It is in the ‘Cool’ Set 2 of Watercolor Inks.
Can’t find my brand of watercolour inks? You can also use this Ecoline set too!
Another option for liquid watercolor inks is the Dr. Ph Martins ‘Hydrus’ Set 1 (there are 3 sets of different colours). And remember you need a palette with wells to use these liquid watercolours.
I used the Daisy palette and size 1 lettering brush on Canson Watercolor Paper.
To practice painting letters freehand, use the heavyweight smooth Kelly Creates Grid Paper pad. (Never practice on blank paper).
