Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today’s free printable lettering template is “lucky me”! You can download, print and practice your watercolour lettering.

TIP:  Paint each letter while the previous letter is ‘wet’ so that the watercolours blend together. I used Kelly Creates Emerald and Deep Yellow Inks from the ‘Warm Set’.

You can paint right on your printer paper or you can use tracing paper on top to practice painting with the template as your guide. I recommend my Kelly Creates Watercolor Lettering brushes and palette. The brushes are sizes 1-4 Round and are perfect for painting the letters.

Thank you Lura! I love them too. Right now there aren’t new colours coming. I wish there were! For ‘new’ colours, you can always mix the colours you have to create your own custom colours. For example, I always make my own 3 brown colours by mixing Orange and Blue, another brown comes from mixing Poppy & Emerald, and a third brown from mixing Violet and Deep Yellow. After combining these in a palette, I always add some drops of water to mix. Adjust the amount of drops of inks to get the right brown shade you prefer. Hope this helps!
