December 12, 2017 at 11:33 pm (7 years ago)My favorite Christmas carol is a local song from Philippines. It’s “Pasko sa Pinas” (Christmas in Philippines). The song is all about how Filipino families celebrate Christmas. On chorus it says “May tatalo pa ba sa pasko ng Pinas
Ang kaligayahan nati’y walang kupas
Di alintana kung walang pera
Basta’t tayo’y magkakasama
Ibang-iba talaga ang pasko sa Pinas.” (Is there something greater than a Chrtistmas in the Philippines. Our happiness never fades, whether there’s no money, as long as we’re all together. It’s really different to celebrate Christmas in the Philippines.) This always reminds me of my homeland and also to the hospitable Filipino families, especially evEry Christmas season. Happiness is always in us. ?
