Somehow I feel like Easter has snuck up on me! I don’t feel prepared at all. Being in a different home for Easter for the first time in 22 years also feels strange. But Easter still ranks as my #1 special occasion.
This week let’s paint “Happy Easter.” I used the beautiful Kelly Creates Violet Watercolor Ink, which has a lovely hue no matter how much you dilute it with water.
The Violet Watercolor Ink can be found in the “Cool” Set 2 of inks.
I used the Daisy palette and size 1 lettering brush on Canson Watercolor Paper.
To practice painting letters freehand, use the heavyweight smooth Kelly Creates Grid Paper pad. (Never practice on blank paper).
To learn more about watercolor lettering, read my book The Art of Watercolor Lettering and use my workbooks, inks and supplies from the Kelly Creates AMAZON Storefront or from KellyCreatesStore.com.
