Calligraphy and hand lettering are really fun to use to create quotes and inspirational word art you can display or frame. Instead of just a plain white piece of paper, you can use water-based brush pens to design very quick and easy watercolour backgrounds.
The supply list is short and simple: watercolour paper (or Bristol paper or cardstock), watercolour brush pens (In these projects, I used Tombow Dual Brush pens), a plastic palette (or sandwich bag) and water (preferably in a spray bottle or mini mister). Also have some paper towel or a rag handy to wipe up the palette or messes.
