After releasing the lowercase alphabet and drills for the small brush pens, I received an overwhelming number of requests for Capital Letters. Sometimes calligraphers who do brush lettering avoid uppercase letters because they are challenging.
I say “Rise to the challenge” and start enjoying those caps!
Are the capital letters hard to draw? Well, the honest answer is “Yes” because bigger curves, turns and longer upstrokes to reach the top of the letters are more difficult to master. But you know what? They are FUN! I loved drawing the capital letters and when I was designing these sheets, I found it hard to choose just one style. Problem Solved! I created 2 different sets of 2 styles!
Introducing “Simply Classic”….a script with beautiful, clean lines. With fewer loops and curves to navigate, you will be perfecting these capital letters quickly and easily!
The second set of practice sheets is called “Lovely Elegance”…a flowing script with easy flourishes that will add a touch of refinement to your hand lettered invitations and cards.
How do you choose between the two? Well, that’s why there’s a Bundle…maybe you just have to get both!
