When I’m teaching Beginner workshops, we always start out with basic strokes, drills and then the lowercase alphabet. Eventually though, we all want to learn to connect the letters and write words. If you’re using a small brush tip pen, you can try a fun and easy way to learn how to write words with my new Kelly Creates “Stamp & Trace” stamp sets.

Stamp sets are available at http://www.kellycreatesstore.com

There are 8 sets to choose from, which include common special occasion sentiments for weddings, birthday, etc. The concept is simple: stamp with a very light ink (grey or off white) and then trace over with a Kelly Creates Small brush tip pen. OR if you have different colour ink pads, you can use the stamps to make cards.

What a wonderful idea, Kelly! As a card maker, I am very bored with the stamps that are available. I can see myself using these to make my cards less mechanical looking.
