When I’m teaching Beginner workshops, we always start out with basic strokes, drills and then the lowercase alphabet. Eventually though, we all want to learn to connect the letters and write words. If you’re using a small brush tip pen, you can try a fun and easy way to learn how to write words with my new Kelly Creates “Stamp & Trace” stamp sets.

There are 8 sets to choose from, which include common special occasion sentiments for weddings, birthday, etc. The concept is simple: stamp with a very light ink (grey or off white) and then trace over with a Kelly Creates Small brush tip pen. OR if you have different colour ink pads, you can use the stamps to make cards.
For those of you who use planners and journals, you can use the Days of the Week and Months sets too.
Jana Eubank used the Calendar stamp sets in the Kelly Creates Practice Journal. Click HERE to visit Jana’s blog and learn more! Jana also used the stamps for some stunning wedding craft projects too! Go to her blog and take a peek….so beautiful and creative!
With the traceable stamp system, you can learn calligraphy while you are crafting! Meghann Andrew used the stamps as a scrapbook layout background. Click HERE to see Meghann’s blog post that is absolutely gorgeous! She shares her photo step out process for creating this scrapbook page with my stamps and stickers.
Zinia Amoiridou shared a video tutorial using my stamps and products to make some pretty watercolour cards on the American Crafts blog. Click HERE to see her amazing projects and learn some fabulous techniques with my pens and stamps!
You can use a number of different brush pens to trace the stamps: Kelly Creates 3-pack Black brush pens (fine and medium tips), Kelly Creates Multicolor Small Brush pens, and the smaller tip of the Dream Pens. (Click on the images to see them in my online shop http://www.kellycreatesstore.com )
