CONTEST IS CLOSED:ย Congratulations to Ginette! Happy 2017! Thanks for participating in such a fun hop. Iโm trying to get into brush lettering with pens and nibs but itโs not looking too pretty yet haha. Keep up the fabulous work.
Happy New Year!
Another year has gone by, and I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to join in this wonderful blog hop organized by the amazing Latisha Yoast. ย I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for letting me share my love of crafting with you over the years.ย And if you’re new here, then welcome!
As a brief introduction, I am Kelly Klapstein, known as “Kelly Creates” online. Iย have beenย a writer and designer for Creative Scrapbooker magazine for about the last 6 years.
I’m also a Senior Brand Ambassador for Tombow.
Right now you might have noticed that my interest in hand lettering and calligraphy have ‘taken over’ my posts here and in social media in general.
For the past year and a half I have been studying and practicing lettering, mostly focusing on brush lettering with brush pens and watercolours….and I am in LOVE with this art form.
I now am teaching workshops internationally along with providing online instruction via the sets of tracing, printable worksheets I sell in my Shop.ย I opened my Shop in April 2016 and am happily working full-time on my lettering business. Not only do I find brush lettering veryย relaxing, I also love teaching people how to enjoy the calming practice of drawing letters.
I am so blessed, and I would like to say “thank you” to the creative world by offering a prize consisting of TWO parts: a set of ‘word art stamps’ made from my own calligraphy….
AND…ย a MEGA “Love Letters” brush lettering kit that includes the following: Tombow Dual Brush Pens, Tombow Fudenosuke pens, Tombow pencil, Tombow eraser, Rhodia practice pad, exclusive customizable pencil pouch, a lovely ombre “Love Letters” folder to hold the worksheets, an eco-friendly “Love Letters” tote bag AND….6 sets of tracing guide worksheets to help you learn brush lettering for both the small and large brush tip pens, (drills, lowercase and uppercase alphabets). To learn more about these worksheets, you can click on the “SHOP” tab in my website menu and see all the sheet sets there.
There are SO many fabulous blogs for you to visit with a TON of prizes to be won. So hop along by clicking on the links and names listed below.ย If you’re following the order below, thenย scrollย down to my name and you will go to Erica Houghton’s blog next.
UPDATE:ย CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED………To be eligible to win, just leave a comment on this post. The Contest closes Jan. 6 and I will announce the winner on Jan 8.
