Is your Planner game still strong? Here we are… almost half way through the year! How can that be!?! Well, that can only mean 1 thing… Time to start a fresh planner! I am really excited to get organized and creative with some new Kelly Creates products that are geared for your planner. Kelly’s new Sticker book is chock full of over 1,000 stickers to tickle your planner fancy! And if that is not enough, she has coordinating stamp sets. It’s time to sit down and start playing!
I am using Kelly’s ‘Clarity’ Creative Journal (which is embossed black faux suede) for the second half of the year. The Planner Stickers make it super easy to create title pages and layouts in no time. I used a sticker for my title page that fits just perfectly.
Next up: June title page. I know it’s not quite June yet, but I need to have the pages all ready once it’s here! I used Kelly Creates ‘Coral’ Dream Pen to write “JUNE”.
Then I outlined it with my favorite Black Fineliner size 005 tip! This is just the right thinness to outline letters.
Next I used the Dream Pen ‘Stone’ to create a shadow for my title. Lastly, I used the Moonlight Marker to add a highlight inside my letters. I also wrote the year with the Black Fineliner 01.
For the next page, I used the yellow-pink mandala watercolor paper from the Galaxy paper pad and fussy cut it as a design element on the left edge of this layout. I also cut out a white banner, adhered it on top of the mandala piece, and outlined it with the Black Fineliner 005. Then I added a few stickers from the Kelly Creates Sticker Book to remind me to be in the moment. Such a great quote!
I decided to stamp the leafy vines from the Kelly Creates Floral Stamp set on to the corners of my pages with the light grey ink from the Ink Pads & Blocks Kit. These are really my go-to products to be more creative! I love the light grey ink because it’s subtle.
Using a flower stamp from the Tropical Stamps Set and the black ink pad, I stamped multiple flowers on the pink and orange watercolor paper from the Galaxy Specialty Paper Pad.
I fussy cut the flowers. I am going to use these as design elements to tie my pages together. I love how the flower backgrounds look like watercolor, without all the work!
I added some adhesive backed half pearl embellishments to the centers of all the flowers for some added dimension. I then layered a few flowers on top of the leaf stamp.I also added a foam dot for dimension to one of them before placing down. My June Page is complete! Next: My weekly layout.
For my “Weekly” page, I used some white cardstock, the black fineliner 005 and stickers from the sticker book. I lined up my days of the week stickers with my Kelly Creates ruler. This comes in so handy!
I also repeated the stamping of the leaves on the corners to mimic the title page.
After creating blocks for my weekly plans and notes, I adhered all my pieces to the page, and added a few flowers across the pages. I wrote “Weekly” with the Coral Dream Pen at the top of the page using the same technique as the June page.
Next I worked on my daily pages. For this layout, I used some cardstock and the time sticker strip that is in the Sticker Book. I found the TO DO and GOALS stickers in the book too! I am telling you… this sticker book has everything! I created the MONDAY layout, adhered the stickers and cardstock, added a few more embellishments, and… voilà!
I repeated this layout for the rest of my week. I am loving how everything is coordinated with a few creative pops. This will help me stay organized and on track with my work schedule, workouts, and meal planning and water. Thanks Kelly for creating products that help me plan, in such a little amount of time!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I hope you all share your planners with us and let us see what you’re planning!
