My daughter has the book of poetry by Rupi Kaur, called “Milk and Honey.” Oh my. The words. The meaning. The feelings.
I used to teach high school English and still tutor students occasionally. So my heart beats excitedly when I read something like this. The fact that a teenager bought a book of poetry is astonishing to me, and I can only hope that Rupi Kaur is revitalizing a love of poetry around the world. What a wonderful, wonderful thing.
I wrote this poem (which is actually missing the last 2 lines) with a Tombow Fudenosuke Twin Tip pen. This pen is fabulous. The two tips have a beautiful soft flex, and I think I prefer the grey tip to the black tip. One pen with 2 lovely brush tips….what more could you ask for?
Here are the affiliate shopping links to Rupi Kaur’s book and this brush pen, plus the Rhodia Lined paper I used to write. You can click on the pictures to see them in my Amazon store and learn more about them. I think they would be the perfect Valentine gift….or any kind of gift! Enjoy!
