As a scrapbooker, I do love designing pages for special occasions and Halloween is one of them. Mostly, I want to keep records of all the kids’ costumes over the years, but sometimes I also take photos of the jack o’lanterns they carve too. With so many Halloween layouts collected, I decided it’s time to put together an album, and so I designed a cover page.
If you would like to see a tutorial on how I created that glittery web and those spiders, click HERE to visit the Crafty Power Blog. I used a whole bunch of Bazzill Basics Paper cardstock. The purple background is Dotted Swiss. My Brother ScanNCut machine helped me with the oval spider bodies and the title.
I also thought I would post my cute minion Halloween layout that appears in the current Fall 2014 issue of Canadian Scrapbooker magazine.
For this layout, I used some ‘non’ Halloween papers from Simple Stories DIY collection…which goes to show you that you don’t need only themed papers to make a Halloween layout.
Well, Halloween is tomorrow…so I guess I’d better go out and buy some chocolate and candy for the trick or treaters (ok, who am I kidding? for MYSELF!)
Happy Crafting!
