I’m excited to share a new webisode I made with Canadian Scrapbooker magazine that features some gorgeous FabScraps papers and chipboard, Core’dinations card stock and Clearsnap products.
Last Fall, BabyofTheFamily got this adorable hat…and I think she has the perfect head to wear these kinds of hats. I tried to pull this off recently, but it was more of a I-have-to-run-out-and-get-groceries-and-my-hair-looks-a-mess kind of decision.
The other two teens can carry off this look as well.
Back to my layout…. I used the Wild at Heart collection from FabScraps with a little bit of their purple Christmas paper too. In the video I show how I created those fun tie-dyed effect hearts, using Core’dinations card stock.
All of these distressed silver embellishments, the title and gears, are altered with Clearsnap Mix’d Media Inx and embossing powder (Pewter) and stamping (Magenta).
I stamped a floral pattern onto the embossed gears to soften the look towards a more ‘girly’ element. This pocket and tag combo are also from FabScraps.
I love how this ‘chain link’ chipboard piece turned out…. and I layered it behind a cut out heart.
Here is the video that shows how it all happens!
Hope you enjoy it…. and Happy Crafting!
