It’s almost the end of the school year, and I’m sure we are all busy planning or making gifts and cards for teachers.  Since my teens are a ‘little old’ for teacher gifts and cards, I just made one card for BabyOfTheFamily to give to a special teacher in her Junior High School.

This card and easy tutorial are being featured on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today.  Click HERE to visit and learn more about how I designed this card.

I used the Simple Stories “Homespun” collection papers.  I really like how Simple Stories has patterned papers that are black to look like chalkboard. Here are the two pieces I used:

I stamped the “A+ Teacher” with this Typewriter Stamp set from Plaid, and used Clearsnap Mix’d Media Inx in Jasmine (white).

Actually, I’m probably most excited about that fun paper in the background of my card photograph…. “I will not kiss the girls”.  Ha ha!  I have been hanging onto that in my stash FOREVER.

Here’s a challenge for you:  If you can name the manufacturer/company that made that piece of paper, I will send you some Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products.  Yes! a GIVEAWAY!!

Go ahead.  Give it your best shot!

Happy Crafting!

This card is so clever, especially the extra detail of the ledge for the chalk. The paper is in the background is the perfect backdrop and you purchased it when we were at CKC in Phoenix many years ago.
