Probably the most popular lettering project people make is a hand lettered quote. Creating a piece of word art that inspires you every time you see it is so rewarding. This week we are learning how to design and paint the quote “one day at a time.” If this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s to be grateful for what I have and to take one day at a time.

To paint this watercolor lettering, I used my Kelly Creates Watercolor Inks in Deep Yellow and Rose (Set 1 Warm) and Teal (Set 2 Cool), my Kelly Creates Round 2 Watercolor Lettering Brush and palette.

I sketched and designed my quote with a pencil on my Kelly Creates Watercolor Lettering Grid Practice Paper and then practiced painting the words with my Kelly Creates Black Ink Water Brush.
