Hello May! Today we are going to practice painting the word “May” two ways with a free printable worksheet. The focus is on the lowercase ‘a’ – one is a print style and one is script.

For the above lettering, I used my Kelly Creates Round 2 Lettering brush with Blue Watercolor Ink, and for the centre of the tiny flowers I put a dot of Yellow Kelly Creates Watercolor Ink.

I have also added an instructional video about this lettering as “Watercolour Wednesday” on my YouTube channel…. you can check it out HERE. Don’t forget to subscribe to my Channel so you don’t miss future videos. I had taken a break from YouTube but now I”m back and excited to share more tutorials with you every week!

You can paint right onto your printer paper or you can use tracing paper on top to practice painting with the template as your guide. I recommend my Kelly Creates Watercolor Lettering brushes and palette. The brushes are sizes 1-4 Round and are perfect for painting the letters. .
