If you have been following me on Instagram lately, I have been doing brush lettering on images and photographs.
Some of the photos are mine, but lots of them are from GraphicStock, which is an online library of graphics, vectors and illustrations that you can download with a membership.
I have used a number of different pens and markers to draw on these. And I love the results!
GraphicStock asked to sponsor one of my YouTube videos, so I made a video sharing how I used their graphics for lettering projects and also cards.
I didn’t even write the script “Merry Christmas”…the graphic came like that so I just stuck it down onto cardstock. All of the images and illustrations can be re-sized. You don’t have to be a pro at Photoshop or Illustrator to use them either.
I just downloaded the images as jpegs and printed the on laser jet paper that is thicker and more heavyweight….not even expensive photo paper.
For those people that don’t do their own lettering on cards I showed how easy it is to simply stamp a sentiment on a GraphicStock image.
The images above with brush lettering have received such an overwhelming positive response on Instagram that I’ve decided to offer them as free downloads on my website. I haven’t set that up yet, but I will in the next couple of weeks, so I will announce this in my next newsletter “Kelly Letters” and also on Instagram.
Here is the video where I demo the cards and lettering if you’re interested….there is a free 7-day trial offer of 140 downloads going on right now if you want to give GraphicStock a try.
Enjoy!
