So what exactly is “Bouncy” lettering? It is a more relaxed and playful style of brush calligraphy where the letters don’t always sit in a row on a baseline, but rather appear to ‘bounce’ up and down in an appealing way. If you would like to try out a free alphabet sheet, click HERE to get the letter ‘h’ tracing worksheet for you to download and print.
I have been busy this summer and have wanted to release this new set of worksheets for a very long time. Finally, they are here! The Bouncy lowercase alphabet and drills are available in my shop and they are designed for LARGE brush pens, like the Kelly Creates Dream Pens, Tombow Dual Brush pen or Sakura Koi Coloring Brush pen and more. Click HERE to visit my website shop for more info.
The Drills of the 10 Basic Strokes are FREE….and they will help you write a looser, bouncier style of letters and words. These drills are different from my first set which has more structured traditional forms.
Here is my YouTube video that explains the drills in detail….you can also click on the video to watch it on YouTube and subscribe to my Channel.
And here is my YouTube video that answers the question “What is Bouncy Lettering?” I explain the techniques behind this fun, easygoing style of calligraphy. Enjoy!

January 31, 2018 at 3:43 pm (7 years ago)Hi Paula, you have to go through the check out process even though it is free. This is how it’s set up on my website. So go into Large Brush Pen worksheets and find Free Bouncy Drills. Click on them, add them to cart and check out with them. Then you can download them. Please email me if you have further questions kellycreates101@gmail.com thanks

December 29, 2020 at 9:10 am (4 years ago)Hi, Kelly. I really love the beautiful bouncy letters you wrote. I did follow your instructions to place order and checkout the free printable worksheets; but there were only two pages instead of a bundle. I wonder how to download the other free pages?
Thanks.
