Well, you knew it was coming, didn’t you? A puppy layout! Finnigan joined our family at the beginning of March, and we are so in love with him.
This design is based on Sue Sykes’ May Sketch for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine:
I used Bo Bunny’s “Happy Tails” collection:
It is soooo cute! And once in awhile, I do need a ‘cute’ fix.
I used the Brother ScanNCut to design the heart stencil in the background.
Here is a free cutting file for the Heart Stencil, both svg and fcm files. For those of you with a ScanNCut, you will want to download the .fcm file to a USB stick and then use it in your machine. Just click on the image below and you will be able to download the digital cutting file.
Here is the video that shows how I used the ScanNCut to design the heart stencil above.
I also designed the “Puppy Love” title using the ScanNCut.

For some added dimension and sparkle, I used some Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Foam Hearts and Clearsnap red glitter:
Even puppies deserve a little glitter, don’t they?
I wish he could stay a puppy forever…. well, without the housetraining! ha ha
